Congratulations to Oregon State University for its Oct. 29 launch of its new Oregon Forest Science Complex, a joint project with the University of Oregon. The new complex will offer classrooms for the university’s renowned forestry program and provide dedicated space for the study of advanced wood products, such as cross-laminated timber.
Approximately 250 leaders, including Gov. Brown, gathered for the event celebrating a first in the nation collaboration among forest-product scientists, engineers and architects. (photos)
